Location
Belstone sit high on the northern edge of Dartmoor and provides a gateway to some of the most beautiful and wild parts of the moor. Belstone’s scenic location belies its easy accessibility. Located only a mile from the A30 and 2 miles from Okehampton, Belstone is an ideal base from which to tour Devon and Cornwall.

There are many things to do in and around Belstone, including:
Walking
Dartmoor boasts some of Britain’s most spectacular scenery, and is a paradise for any walker. You can easily walk on to the open moor from The Tors, which is about 20 meters from its edge. Golf
Golf can be played at one of the nearby golf courses, including the award-winning Ashbury with its five 18-hole courses.
Shopping
Surrounding Belstone you can find a number of places to shop and enjoy a more cosmopolitan pace of life. In the nearby Dartmoor towns of Okehampton and Chagford there are a good variety of independently owned shops, coffee shops and restaurants.
In Exeter, which is about a twenty-minute drive, you can find the new Princesshay shopping district with all the usual high-street brands as well as some more upmarket independent boutiques.
Tourist Attractions
The Devon and Cornwall coastlines are easily accessible by car, with the beautiful rugged north coast the famous fishing villages of the south coast an equal distance from our central location.
The Cornish border is a 20 mile drive down the arterial A30, giving easy access to attractions including the Eden Project.
